Ninite Review: Install or Update Freeware Programs | TuneUp Blog

Ninite looks like a great Windows solution to an on-going problem. Provided you are using several of the programs on its installation list it makes a lot of sense, otherwise, adding yet another program to manage one or two seems like overkill.

Read this excellent review and see if Ninite is for you.

Keeping your software up-to-date is an annoyance. Can you even imagine how many times you’ve clicked “Next”, “Next”, “Next” and “Finish”? If you install a ton of applications and want an easier way of keeping them up-to-date, Ninite is probably one of the best tools for you. In this blog post, I’ll share my experiences with both the Ninite installer and the paid updater.

  1. Richard, Ninite is definitely worth installing if you use a lot of the software it offers, which most users do. Perhaps one of its best features is its ability to install all of the software in one smooth run, without asking you to continuously click “next”. Another great feature, if you sign up for it, monthly software update. To see more about why this is such a good tool, you can look at my blog post: http://blogs.avg.com/
